"TOWERGATE, which describes itself as Europe?s largest independent insurer, has successfully renegotiated its banking facilities, following a strong set of results for last year.

The company, founded by Norfolk billionaire Peter Cullum, has agreed new long-term financing arrangements with its lenders, led by Lloyds Banking Group, after it posted a 13% rise in income to ?315m, compared with ?279m in 2007."
