Those who have been blaiming Roeder and Gunn are not looking at the big picture.

prime example is Roger Mumby who claimed that they had made two huge errors in bringing in Peter Grant and Glen Roeder.

I dont understand how Roeder was an error when he achieved EXACTLY what he was brought in to do?
Yet after keeping us up he was given no funds to buy permanent players.
He sold more than he paid for players.
Roeder got sacked more for being a arrogant prick than results considering he had no money

In a way I feel for him a bit because he came in, shook up the entire staff with no money and got us out of a bad position with mostly decent signings.

Was he supported the next season by the board after our close call?
Was he f**k. the most he spent was 400K on Bell and we sold him already.
