The board in my opinion have been guilty of not knowing how to run a football club well or properly. Anyone with a good backround in the game knows that if the manager has a major problem getting results, he needs replacing sharpish. And not with half the season gone and then by promoting the sales/commercial ex-player, who fancies a pop at the job.

I love Gunny dearly, but we've also paid through the nose for his lack of management savvy at times.
