I've been on the books of a recruitment agency for almost a year...

...They got angry when I kept chasing them so I stopped and I haven't heard from them since September. Haven't bothered to phone them and tell them I have another job through another agency.

If I were you, I would contact another agency. Don't bother letting the other one know.

Tough time for temps though - companies would rather have existing staff cover the gaps than hire a temp.
