i agree with the first 2 paragraphs of that

but as Setanta and ITV have the FA cup package i'm not sure whether that'd have any relevence to Sunday and Sky's not showing us

as for what pants was implying in his original post it seemed to me that the police would suggest an early kick off for the prevention of crowd trouble but that Sky could over-ride this and change it to a late kick off (1pm is NOT a late kick off) "and the so called safety officers and police in charge don't have a say at all"

i think the bringing up of the 11am kick off is also confusing the issue, iirc the police did the normal of insisting it move to a Sunday lunchtime kick off and it was Sky that asked for it to be moved to an earlier time for them to show it

either way, i don't think it should be wrong to ask someone for clarification about a post they make if it's confusing - and unfortuantely pants' posts are often very confusing, it's why there's a standing joke on here about needing a pants to English dictionary
