How often does that get said on here?

I was always under the impression that a large % of the most frequent posters DO go to games, and that many hold ST's like I do.

Or is it just easy for people to believe that if when people disagree with them?

PR may be 'safe' these days, but that's due to the policing and the timing. Its still a thoroughly unpleasant experience, with the locals continuing to line the way back to the station after the game, etc.

Its safe because the timing makes it virtually assured that the city fans will all arrive at similar times, and can be controlled.
An evening or afternoon kick off would see city fans out around the town unescorted in all likelihood, which would very possibly result in some degree of trouble.

I think it'd be less likely in norwich, but sadly not much so.
