it was a joke, a joke about why we have to play this game on a Sunday year in year out

The 1hr 45min thing was sarcasm, and about the extremes of making a game of football kick off at 11am, only for one time, sky deciding that they want to show it at 17.45, and Murdoch's power makes it happen, and the so called safety officers and police in charge don't have a say at all (even though they're supposed to have the final say and 11am it is)
