Boiling cold steam? Lordy!

I think it wasn't so much the cous-cous as the merguez, chicken, lamb and vast quantities of chick peas that were my downfall. "Cous-cous imperiale" it was. By the end it was a challenge, and I wasn't going to let it win, the f**ker.
