A close friend bumped into Dean Ashton in Sainsburys today at about 5pm. She said hello to him and "I see you possibly have a new strike partner". Deano was very quiet/shy and smiled and just said yes. That was it.

Then on the way out of the shop, my friend bumped into a well-known local figure (not Roy Blower, but similar). This guy just so happened to be at Colney this morning as he was invited to this international open day, or whatever it is. Anyway, he went there this morn and couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Morrison (wearing a baseball cap), along with Worthy who was in a suit and "smiling like a cheshire cat". Then Dougie Livermore came out and saw this chap and got talking. Livermore was excited, but the chap said to him "this is good, but all due respect I'm now gonna go throw myself off the top of the Cathedral, Dougie". DL - "why's that?" reply, "well, that obviously means Ashton is off then!". DL - "oh god no. No, thats not the case, definately not. We're not saying he will NEVER leave Norwich, but NOT NOW. No."

End of story, but 100% true I guarantee you all.
