didn't think he was that bad either

his control was excellent. problem was he is very left-footed and playing on the right menat he kept cutting inside in a way that made the angle for his passsing very difficult. Did a good job defensively (important given the formation we were playing).

Also worth noting that Croft didn't do anything better than Carney when he came on.
