Try This...

TO DELETE EXCESS FILES ENTER BELOW IN ?RUN? AND ACCESS ?NOTEPAD?.

You need to ensure that "local hosts" is the only thing that is listed-to delete excess files, including malaware nasties, enter the following in 'Run' on the Start Menu-

c:WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts

This will being up (in Notebook) all the files, anything in addition and *below* where "local hosts" is listed shouldn't be there and should be deleted.

Worked for me, maybe someone a little more IT-proficient than me will confirm.
