think there is more of a difference between league 1 and championship than people think

Financially at least - things like TV money (a lot less than the pitiful amount we get now), sponsorship, lower attendances(?)

Having said that, in terms of football, I don't think theres much difference. Look at the way teams seem to yo-yo between championship, league 1 and league 2, or come up from league 1 and stay up. Don't think we'd be any better off on the pitch either.
