My Dad booked me in a hockey match once

In hockey it's a green card, not a yellow. I'd conceded a free hit, and knocked the ball away, he called me over and all he said was that I should have known better.

He umpired a few of our league matches, and when he was in charge, I always called him by his christian name, and not Dad. He didn't ask that I did that, but seemed the sensible thing to do.
