I'm not sure it does, except that I know they had massive

problems when the pools were outsourced.
The point I was making was simply that I had a lot more public leisure centres within a very short distance of where I'm going to live than I do now. I sespect that is a function of it being a more densley populated area. Generally speaking there seems to be more council investment up there which seems a bit strange as it's been Tory run for years.
