you (Aand Schteve below) are both wrong IMO

Fast wingers will always lose / waste the ball on occasions. If you want someone who won't, then pick someone slow and measured, who'll only ever cross when someone else has worked him time and space (or won him a free kick).

But don't be surprised when you go whole games without creating much, or when the opposition are able to press you high up the pitch because they know you've got no pace to get in behind them.

(Also, Lennon won several corners last ngiht just cause he was too quick for the full back, and also put a cross in that was headed over, and the low cross that Lampard I think had a good chance from.
