The way I understand the new admin rule.

Leaving aside the parent company thing, if we just say that Southampton are going into administration because that is how the league will view it, the league now have the option to defer the points deduction to next season but they can put it on this season as well.

If the Saints go down without the deduction the points deduction will probably go on next year but if they struggle out of the bottom three it will probably still go on this year.

If thats the case then we all want Southampton to win as many as possible don't we?

It's very early in the morning and all this talk of numbers is hurting.
