I was s**t at it, and like you say about knees, it was the groin with me
From about 14 onwards I didn't kick in training and only did so if I did a 100 or indiv medley
I always looked mint at 400 indiv medlay, then came the breastroke leg and then everyone realised why I wasn't :(
400 free was my main event, loved it. You just tecnique'd the first 200, went hell for leather to 300, and then just gave it all you had left on the last 100
