If I hear someone on the radio talking nonsense

I sometimes turn it off - not because they're annoying me but because I'm almost embarrassed for them.

I also turn the radio off if someone keeps on talking when the presenter is trying to cut him/her off so that they can go to the news (mainly Five Live). Ohh I HATE that. I just can't listen - it's excrutiating.

I also like to purchase the occasional adult movie off the telly safe in the knowledge that I will not, some day hence, have to read out a statement to the nation's media, with cameras rolling, which reads: "sorry I had that w**k".

Your mum walking in is one thing - but boy: has this man taken a big bullet for the brotherhood.
