That reminds me of music, two phrases I used to hear all the time

"I can't listen to bands from America, there's something about it that I can't like"

and

"I can't listen to music when women are singing, there's something about them singing that I can't like"

and

"women aren't funny, there isn't one woman I've met who's funny"

etc etc
