They weren't his teeth, they were the cat's. Nanna took them out and gave them to my Dad

when the rabbits from Fairwood Common became scarce and the cat ended up in the pot. They had a community Anderson Shelter built by, primarily, Jones the Post (one leg) and Dai the Tunes (effeminate choirmaster). They made it out of sweetbreads and lights with some newspaper mixed in.

Dad, along with most other kids in the village, had to give up his pants for blackout material.

Some of the older lads got cockfrost.
