Once upon a time, a very very long time, I used to box and as a result I ran many, many, MANY miles in traynun. I know whereof I speak. You simply can't train properly on carrot juice and yoghurt, with or without tabasco. You need some carbs to burn, so you need some plain pasta, muesli, wholemeal bread, that sorta thing. (I am assuming that AB is not a hugenormous fatty who needs to reduce his bulk.)
