Berlin isn't really Germany in the same way

London isn't really Britain.

But it is fantastic. Do the tourist traps like Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburger tor, Reichstag, the wall (near Checkpoint Charlie).

Have lunch at Caf? Einstein on Under den Linden. Potsdammerplatz, Alexanderplatz (for the history). Tiergarten.

Try to find Hitler's bunker (haven't managed in 4 visits).

There are also some great trendy places to go out and shopping is also good, especially if you're a bit arty farty. But I cannot remember the right places for that. BC can tell you all, I am sure.
