On the right lines

Now I'm remembering back a long way here, but as I recall, 'plonk' came from british sailors drinking in Spain or at least Spanish speaking countries. Plonk was what they called the white wines, from 'bianco', and 'tent came from 'tinto'.

Anyone who corrects me is even less cool than I am.
