My local club Wealdstone sold Jermaine Beckford to Leeds

They both played in the Ryman Premier League - maybe comparible, maybe not, but the fee for Jermaine was ?50,000, plus 20%/25% of the profit. As far as I know there was no goal clause.

And if say Cody scored 20 goals next season, and it cost City ?5,000 per goal, it's got to be a good deal as his value would have increased by much more than ?100,000.

The sell on clause is where Dartford make the big-bucks, and hopefully where Wealdstone will too.
