That's fair. I've choose to be an ostrich over this.

The details are not clear, and never will be.

So to me, its easier to believe that nothing constructive ever happened and go from there.

Probably a cop out, but untill I can see facts about what was offered, I'm choosing to believe the version of events put out by the club.
To do otherwise just leads to too many difficuly situations, if this were true i'd have joined smudgers army by now.
As I don't know its true, I don't want to go down that route.
