but the fall from 7th at xmas to relegation in May was pretty dire - as were performances by some of the players (Channon was Keith O Neill-esque in his lack of effort at late-season away games).

Of course that Board (offering as much footballing knowledge as the current one) managed to achieve a great deal of success, combined with the ignimony of getting relegated twice.
