My concern would be (this would be my question)

When next season starts, and Gunn can't get the player he wants, notably the striker he wants, due to the board not giving him enough resources to complete, or even compete with getting said striker/midfielder/defender (especially after probably selling good players)

When next season starts, will they, after laying all the pressure in the world down on a manager to produce, despite their lack of help, just sack him as soon as the crowd gets a bit narked off?

Cos that's what they've done the past two managers, and they can't exactly wash their hands when they do and go "well we did provided everything for x and the results haven't come, so we regrettably let them go"
