aye, in that sense I wasn't ripped off

but was a bit narked that I can't use it as a spare

I went to get unlocked and both shops said they aren't unlockeable once they've been blacklisted

One guy said it's really common now that people don't realise this happens, which is why new good phones are getting sold, then the sellers are reporting them stolen, and the buyers on ebay are ending up being the victim

I've bought loads of phones off ebay unlocked, but I won't anymore unless it's got a warranty. Either that or I'll pay full whack to get what I want without fear of knowing one day it won't kick in cos some numpty has decided to break the law and commit fraud
