You have to do the touristy stuff when you first visit somewhere...

so yes to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Alcatraz, walked up Lombard Street, ridden on the trollies, walked over Golden Gate, paid ?8 for a fresh orange juice at a restaurant in China Town... marvellous!!
