Not particularly...

If he says he loves Norwich and always wanted to play for them, then maybe different.
But, hes not.
If he says a lot of positive things about the fact he is going to try his hardest to do a good job for his new team and be totally professional, then hes not saying anything that he wouldnt say signing for any club.
By giving any indication that he will go easy on a particular team is thoroughly unprofessional and fans of any team would not be too impressed (and they possibly arent that impressed as it is).

Anyway, all of this is irrelevant. The only people who are really embarrased by any of this, are Norwich city for having to very publicly acknowledge to their fans the fact that they are now streets behind their local rivals and having to take other teams cast-offs who were previously cast-off by their local rivals.
