While I'm sorry for Ms. Richardson's family, I don't see why this situation should merit m

ore sympathetic attention than the death of thousands of "unknowns" -- many of them children -- due to violence in Darfur or inadequate health care in the USA. I will say, though, that it's heartening to see that at least one of our culture's "celebrities" appears to have had a normal, loving family.
