Well, yeah. It's because it's a fully-featured iPod as well as a foon.

Really, its so that they can push the "iTunes Store" to you, to get you to part with dinero for s**t quality mp3s.

It's quite good though - one of the nice things about the iFoon is all the user-generated applications - you get those through the iTunes store, many for free. Like I got one yesterday that tells me where to find stuff nearby, like pubs, supermarkets, cafes, police stations, hotels, all sorts. Which was dead handy when I was in the middle of Manchester yesterday, 'cos I don't know Manchester at all. Uses GPSa to find out where you are, then lists all the nearby things in the category you select.

It's brilliant.
