The same old will probably happen

we'll get emergency players in that might keep us up, then won't sign them, hence making it very hard to improve on things when the players we're all used to go back to their clubs

Then in the summer, Gunn will try again with new players, and if they don't settle straight away, or get a big injury, or in general, don't work out, we'll be back to square one of wondering why we're in a mess

Gunn may step down under the same pressure as previous, then we'll install a new manager, get good emergency players in, scrap to safety with those players, then don't sign them, then spend a summer...........
