Not a legal classification

In medieval times a man could be classified as an 'outlaw', meaning that he was treated as vermin and could be killed with impunity. I can see that you would like to return to those days to enable you to go round killing those whom you dislike, but in my view it was not a desirable feature of a civilised legal system.
