Not you, I meant people who rabidly petition for us to celebrate St Georges day.

We never have done!

St Patricks day has become a huge commercial day worldwide due to the Irish diaspora (which included some of my forbears in this country) and Guinness.

There always seems to me to be a faintly (at best) racist undertone to anyone wanting to celebrate St Georges day. I don't give a s**t about it.

Those celebrate St Georges day emails are usually followed by ones titled "The truth about immigration", which invariably contain half-truths and lies about how being a white English person you have nor rights in your own country etc.
