Of course, why not? Couldn't possibly be because she answered the examinations to 3 As and 2Bs standard.

I managed to flunk my A levels (1971) and so lost my place at medical school. However still got to read chemistry at London University through clearing and ended up with a first class honours degree and a PhD. So the moral is: everything is recoverable!
