I was in a similar position when I got mine...

Was predicted five A's, got one A, two Bs and two Cs, and was unable to go to the university that was my first choice.

I put this down to the new Curriculum 2000 thing and too be fair, the school and the teachers didn't really know what to expect from the new exams.

As it happened, it all turned out perfectly and I'm glad I underachieved now!
