I don't know really...

I'm not sure of his religious beliefs (assuming that might have a bearing of course). He has played and worked over here for a large proportion of his life, so I reckon he'd have some affinity with England.

Also, managing an International side is pretty much part-time anyway, so with a good team around him he could take the job and still be with his wife a lot.

He ticks all the right boxes for me anyway.
