players don't bother in friendlies these days. All this 'proud to play for england' stuff is rubbish. They've got big games saturday, and all they care about is getting through without an injury. Yes they would like to win, but they wont risk injury for it. When it comes to a competitive england game however they WILL give it 110%, cause it matters then. I don't get why people bother watchinf england friendlies anymore, when was the last good one?
