Aren't msot of the debts not debts owed by real people
but the debts owed as a result of their financial betting through CDOs on each other's creditworthiness? So the 1.4trn wouldn't even touch the surface of their mutual indebtedness
Anyway, I don't care. After 50 years we are heading back to the third tier. I really believed up to today
