i think my main problem

is that we seem to have been paying the agents on the players' behalf, which doesn't at all tally with Mawhinney's quote, or probably with what most of the other teams in the survey happened to do

i think they'd have still paid them, but indirectly, by increasing a player's signing-fee

it's not really a problem i have with Doncaster in this case at all...
