I have notes which petered out towards the end - a thirst was upon me!

A1 -The manager reports directly to the Board, there is an agenda item specifically for football matters - the item is the biggest. Board does not nitpick but asks why and what for. On day to day issues manager reports to CEO as do other departmental heads.
A2 - No. Playing budget too high, Turners resigned for football reasons not personality.Up to them to explain. Barry Skipper approaching 70 age limit for Directors
A3 Confidentiality agreements common, indeed necessary if external interest in purchase Governance checks. ND explained the caveats attached to ?5M player offer - return money if relegated - would push club close to administration if it happened (IMHO ND was being frank, he was saying "read my lips", was there a motive behind PC original offer)
A7 A career move prior to restructuring of duties!!!
A8 Loans provide good value for money, not stuck with huge payouts if managers screw up (my words) ref P Grant. Board have accepted the managers view on loans.
A9 (Lesson - don't ask a question without doing some homework) It is all in the annual accounts.
A10 No evidence tha a Director of Football has worked anywhere in the UK

and then the mind wandered to Gunny and an upcoming brew.
