Sigh...couple of days off wuck as I have to buy a noo car....

I approach this in the same frame of mind that many feel when facing a schedule of dental surgery. I don't hate cars - I just hate having to buy one. I am also, according to friends, remarkably unlucky with the sodding things, though my latest ill-fortune has to be mostly my fault: my diesel Corsa had died under me ("I can't believe your bottom end has gone - they never do on these" - whatever that means) and I was strongly advised to get a new engine for it, so I spent ?250 on an old Metro to keep me going in the meantime. In six weeks, the little bugger has fallen to bits. I now have two dead motors sitting in the works car park.

Sooooooooo, bearing in mind that a) I'm unlucky with cars, b) I don't actually like any car that I'd dream of buying (I'd love a supercar but wouldn't buy one even with a lottery win) and c) I don't really care what I drive as long as it isn't nasty (like the Panda I've hired is), I'm being urged to go and get a Kia Cee'd as it's reasonably reliable and there's a deal offering free service and repair til 2015.

I don't think I've ever seen a Cee'd (apart from the pics on the webby, which look OK), but then I could stand in your works carpark and fail to identify the make or model of any vehicle, so that means little.

So go on then - woss wrong with the Cee'd please?

Cheers
