oh come on pants

they're footballers. they're not very bright. anyway i've left jobs because I've hated my boss - not really about professional it's about whether you can work there. I've had vile and personal insults thrown at me (the prize one being that I was one of those people who were such perfectionists that they ended up hanging from a beam in their room) - and in the end it counts. We know that Roeder insulted players - he did it publicly for goodness sake, so I think there's a fair chance that some of them didn't like him.
But I do think that he thought he would have the right player to back up lupoli and when they first played together it looked like it might be sibierski. What I could never get over was the fact that when lupoli came back from injury he never repeated that combination - sibs needed the fast-thinking forward, loops needed the heavyweight slightly deeper player. So that's actually what annoyed me most.
Still - onwards and upwards!!
