They've done so by retaining the ball in an attacking areas especially better than any other team has managed in History...it's why Brazil are regarded as the beat footballing nation in the world. Their training sessions are based around the ball and not the fitness exercises of England national and club teams (run all day+ lack of ballwork = hardwork but heartbreak)
