They do it in a number of ways

- By making the who experience pleasant which attracts families and women. We have one of the highest female support bases

- By inititiative like kids for a quid, again family friendly

- By making it affordable e.g. installment payment for season tickets and good value (e.g. LOJs post below)

- By reaching out to a wider fanbase through community and school initiatives

- By making it a 'day out' where you can have a meal or network etc

I would guess that most of this is the work of Andrew Cullen which his why he was headhunted by MK Dons
