This Fozzy story is fairly interesting

Is it as follows:

Preston were interested all along, but he turned them down saying "I'll stay one more year, see how it goes" and then the final straw came vs Coventry and he requested a transfer?

Or did Preston just happen to put in a bid having seen his wonderful performances this season?
