Inexperience of Gunn showing?

I was saying in the chat room last night that I thought it was good that we had saved two subs, so that we could break up the play in the latter stages by using them.

So why didnt we? Listening to the listen few mins we were still under pressure, seemed a good time to drag off say Croft/Bertrand or someone for a Carney or Lappin??
