I think as well that as part of the learning process he realizes that there were times when he couldn't see his best team, and wherever we are next year, we will be a stronger team all round.

Plus, we've got divisional pay structures etc so the future's bright all round. The stakes for WBA and Southampton at least are higher on Sunday - if they go down then (particularly in Soton's case) it will be another Coventry/West Ham/Leeds scenario.
