i've been one of the most critical fans of the board and their appointments BUT one thing, our foray into the prem wasnt a bad effort - paid minimum to give our selves a chance of survival - dont forget that the last day it was in our own hands. The first time in prem history that all 3 terams at the bottom could still mathematically survive!!! Yes the performance once one of a frenchman in a war and some players (and manager) should have been sacked on the spot for gross misconduct on the last day, but we still had a chance till we went 1-0 down.
